Getting Ready

We're getting ready for our trip. Three nights in Paris, seven nights in Barcelona, then three more nights in Paris. I'm excited yet a little nervous. David is way more excited because he really needs a vacation.

The getting ready part is an experience in itself. We need to make sure our house and animals are taken care of, we need to pre-pay upcoming bills, we need to figure out what to pack, and what we're going to do when we get there. I'm already exhausted! ;)

Thankfully my good friend Ann will be house and pet sitting. It's a win win situation. Less for us to worry about while vacationing abroad.

We are staying in two bedroom flats in both Paris and Barcelona and each of them have a laundry, so we won't have to pack for two weeks making it easier to think about and lighter for travel. Also more room for bringing back things we may need to purchase.

While in Paris we're planning to go to the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Sainte-Chapelle, Musée d'Orsay, Arc de Triomphe, Musée du Louvre, and whatever else we can fit in the short time we'll be there.

While in Barcelona we're going to a fútbol game, Tibidabo, the Gothic Quarter, Parc del Laberint d'Horta, Parc Güell, La Segrada Família, and wherever else looks fun and exciting.

I will update this blog as we go, hopefully, with photos and notes of what we're doing and seeing.

Au revoir pour le moment or
Adiós por ahora
