Well we're home. YAY! It was a long two weeks, but very exciting and exhausting. You need good walking shoes and a lot of patience when you're in the touristy areas.

The food was wonderful and very tasty. I guess Europe doesn't allow hormones or pesticides in their food which makes for better health and better food. I think that's one reason the people look healthier. :)

Our flight(s) were long and mostly comfortable, but my butt hurts and my legs still feel numb from sitting so long. :|

This is our "we're going home" selfie.

We flew over Greenland, the frozen tundra, and Canada. I didn't have a window seat, but the man next to me was nice enough to take one picture for me and Zack was able to get a couple others.

These three were Greenland. It's not very green is it? :)

I'm not sure, but I think these two were Greenland as well.

I believe these two were the frozen tundra. Wow!

And the best news after this fabulous trip is...we're all home and safe and all is right!

Thanks to our great friend Ann, the house and animals were well taken car of and even spoiled a little. Who knows what they're going to ask for after Ann spoiled them. ;)

Happy American Mother's Day to all who kept up with our adventure. We love you all and wish you well.

Au revoir

We are saying au revoir to Paris. We have had a wonderful two weeks in both Paris and Barcelona and are all ready to be in our own homes. The places we've stayed in, the food we've eaten, the site's we've seen, and the people we've met have been wonderful. This entire experience is one we'll treasure forever.

We love you all and will see you soon. We'll probably take another selfie at the airport. Zack's pretty good at it. ;)

Ok I'll post the selfies from yesterday, now that Zack sent them to me...

One of the ceilings in the Opéra de Paris.

Looking down a rue (road) from atop the Opéra de Paris.

From the front of the Opéra de Paris.

Now for today's selfies...we finally made it to the Chateau de Versailles, along with 4,000 or so other people.

In front of the train station. We ended up taking the correct train but in the wrong direction so, we got to see the countryside. It was very pretty.

In front of the Chateau de Versailles, Louis XIV statue.

Following are pictures of the Chateau de Versailles...

Tomorrow, home! YAY! I am ready.

We didn't go to Versailles today because tomorrow is a holiday in Paris and things will be closed so we'll go tomorrow instead. We went to Opéra de Paris today and enjoyed another amazing sight.

A mirror selfie.
