We've been walking so much that David had to buy some gel insoles today. Luckily all the farmàcias (pharmacy's) have them. There is no grocery store here as we know them. They are all individual stores, so the meat store sells meats, the produce store sells produce, etc. There are several of these stores per street so don't worry if you pass one, there will be another. There is a pastisseria (pastry shop) every 3 or 4 doors apart so don't worry if you forgot the bread or pastries. It's amazing that the people here eat bread and pastry's constantly but they are not fat. The main mode of commuting is walking. It is an amazing culture and even more amazing city.
